Best price for the black Turkish fig

According to the President of the Association of Exporters of Fruits and Vegetables from Uludag, Mr. Arif Güney, the "Black Fig Bursa", famous worldwide, was a late start to the season, due to adverse weather conditions and has started to be exported from August 25. 

Despite a drop in production of about 35 percent, producers are satisfied with this season because of the high prices obtained.

Because of the focus on the biological quality of the product, no problems were encountered in the food safety point of view. All European countries, Hong Kong and Singapore, as well as South Africa and Canada among importing countries and there is an increase of imports in England, Holland and Poland.
