Expected increase for citrus fruits harvests

Valencia's citrus fruits production will be superior in volume and "extraordinary" in quality.

According to estimations of the ministry of Agriculture, Valencia will have a better citrus fruits production this year compared to the previous campaign.

Oranges and mandarins production of Comunitat Valenciana should be situated over the 4,3 million tons of last season.

Considered as slightly superior to that of the 2009-2010, this harvest will be lower than that of 2 years ago. This campaign seems to be of an "extraordinary quality”.

However, the export offer should not increase due to the small grade of citrus fruits.
