Sweet potato exports drop in volume and increase in value

Peruvian sweet potato exports between January and April 2022 totaled 4.117.922 kilos worth $1.557.859. It is a slight decrease in volume but growth in value from the 4,586,946 kilos dispatched in the same period of 2021 for $1.447.698, according to a report from the Agrodata portal.

The main destination of these supplies in 2022 was the United States, with placements of $481.835 (31% of the total), followed by the Netherlands with $480.483 (31%), Chile with $310.144, Ecuador with $121.232, Bolivia with $48.240 and others with $115.924 in total.
