The Dominican Republic concentrates 100% of the Peruvian orange market.
Peruvian orange exports are experiencing a sharp drop in the 2024/2025 season. Up to week 16, only 179 tons were shipped abroad, 61.34% less than in the same period last year, when 463 tons were exported.
All shipments were directed to the Dominican Republic, according to Peruvian media.
