Over 35,000 visitors drive organic innovation at international trade fair
The next edition of BIOFACH is set to take place from February 10 to 13, 2026, promising another exciting opportunity to shape the future of organic agriculture and trade.
The organic sector once again came together in full force at BIOFACH 2025, held from February 13 to 16 in Nuremberg, Germany. Over the course of four days, one of the world’s leading trade fairs for organic food welcomed more than 35,000 visitors from 140 countries and hosted 2,300 exhibitors representing 94 nations.
The packed exhibition halls and Congress sessions reflected the event’s atmosphere. Attendees engaged in lively discussions, explored cutting-edge solutions, and participated in interactive workshops designed to inspire action. This year’s motto, “Yes, we do!”, underscored a collective commitment to driving positive change in the organic industry.
Tina Andres, chair of BÖLW, highlighted the event's significance, stating, “BIOFACH is not just a trade fair for trade, but a trade fair for taking action.”
The event's new networking formats facilitated valuable business connections, while digital offerings extended the experience beyond the fairgrounds. Presentations and panel discussions from the BIOFACH Congress are available on demand for the next six months via the BIOFACH digital platform, allowing participants to revisit key insights and deepen their understanding of the industry’s future.
