Spanish exports to rise again

Spanish exports of fruits and vegetables appear to have overcome the negative effects of the E.coli. crisis
There are positive trends in Spain as exports increase in value and volume.
FEPEX reports a 13% increase in value compared to June 2011, with a total of € 666.3 million, and a 10% rise in volume to a total of 819,932 tons.
In June, exports of vegetables increased by 26% in value and 22% by volume (165 million € and 226 639 tons),
fruit exports rose 9% in value and 6% by volume (501 million € and 593,293 tons).
The period from January to June saw exports increase by 5% in value and volume, reaching €3,776 million and € 5.8 million tons (a 2.5% increase in vegetables to 2.5 million tons and fruit up 6.7% to 3.3 million tons).
