Sour citrus was among the fastest-growing export complexes in the first seven months.
Argentina exported a record 74.3 million tonnes of agroindustrial products between January and July 2026, 13% more than in the same period last year, according to the country’s Agriculture Secretariat. Export revenue rose 15% to USD 32.507 billion.
Fresh-produce-related categories were part of the growth. The sour-citrus complex increased 44%, while dried pear exports rose 250% and frozen raspberry and blackberry shipments advanced 150%.
In total, Argentina shipped 361 agroindustrial products to 133 markets. Brazil remained important for heavy vegetables, while the broader list of main destinations also included China, the US, Chile and Peru.
