Eu broccoli and cauliflower production surpasses 2 million tons again

After more than 10 years of stable or declining outputs, the EU production of fresh cauliflower and broccoli is progressing again since 2023. It reached 2,06 million tons in 2025, against 1,93 million in 2023. Spain is by far the leading supplier with 35% market share by volume (30% by value) or 728,000 tons production last year, followed by Italy with a share of 17,8% or 368,000 tons, France with 10,8% share or 223,000 tons of output (13,8% market share by value).
