CARDI, the Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute, at a seminar to present its research, has announced the introduction of a new variety of bananas.
This new variety, FHIA 23, is of great interest and can play an essential role in the production and export of small farms. Previous tests and trials in Saint-Vincent have been convincing. This new variety will be introduced in Dominica where a new abundant harvest is expected.
