The 1st Euro-Mediterranean Congress of melon at MedFEL

Participation in the congress is free. This event, dedicated to producers of melon is organized by the AREFLH, in collaboration with the MedFEL trade fair.

The Euro-Mediterranean Congress of Melon, will take place on Thursday 15 and Friday 16 of May , in conjunction with MedFEL, tradeshow dedicated to the sector of fruits and vegetables of the Mediterranean.

The Congress will be opened by Mr. Pelegri i Aixut, President of AREFLH and Advisor of Agriculture of Catalonia. The discussions will begin on the production, marketing and key issues in different countries (Italy, France, Spain, Morocco ...), trade between Europe and the rest of the world. During the day, other major topics will be discussed such as phytosanitary problems, development and promotion of consumption ... The second day will be devoted to technical visits, melon beds and packing station in the region.
