MD
Since its creation, Soldive, leading producer of Charentais melons in France is heavily involved in quality. Soldive controls all channels of production : selecting varieties, planting, harvesting, packaging and marketing. Each stage of production and marketing is computerised to enable an effective traceability.
What is less known is its commitment to sustainable development. Beyond the certifications, Soldive is linked to Morocco since 1992 and since 2006 in Senegal with local people.
In 2006, Soldive moved to Saint Louis in Senegal near a village where people have to travel few kilometers to reach the nearest water source for drinking water. Soldive then digs a channel of 4 kms to bring drinking water to the village.
