Canada is becoming a key market for Peru’s agri-food exports.

In the first quarter of 2025, Peru exported $48 million worth of fruit to Canada — a 53% increase compared to the same period last year, according to Peruvian media.

Grapes and mangoes drove most of the growth, reflecting Canadian demand for high-quality fresh produce.

The increase highlights Peru’s export competitiveness and the impact of its trade and promotion strategies.

Canada is becoming a key market for Peru’s agri-food exports as the country continues to diversify destinations. Peru remains one of North America’s main fruit suppliers and continues to invest in sustainable, export-oriented agriculture.
