Exports to the EU increased by 18%

Colombia had a net increase in exports to the European Union.
According to figures from the Ministry of Commerce , from January to October 2014 , fruit exports to the EU have increased in value by 18% and reached a total of USD 46 million.
The increase in exports is a direct result of the free trade agreement signed in August 2013. Agreement that eliminated tariffs who beat Colombian products in Europe.
The major destinations for Columbian products are Germany and the Netherlands.
