Sahara and Safari, the new varieties of strawberries

Planasa has announced the launch of two new very early varieties of strawberries: Sahara and Safari.

For more than 10 years, the R & D team has been working on new varieties of Planasa (among those main ones, there are Sabrosa-Candonga and Sabrina)..

Sahara is a very early variety, designed to take the place of the variety Sabrosa. The Sahara fruits resemble the Sabrosa ones, but they are much earliest. The goal is the European market at the beginning of season.

Safari is destined to subtropical climates like Florida or Mexico, and it should fit very well to pot culture.
