Mangoes exports are booming

Europe is the privileged destination for mangoes of Mali which still increase their exports.
Mangoes exports of Mali are showing an excellent report, with an increase of more than 50 %.
The exports reached 10.410 tons for the 2010 campaign. With these figures, mangoes are the 1st farm product of export.
The privileged destination for malian mangoes is France. But other European markets are promising as Germany and Netherlands. The exports towards the African markets were intended in Libya and in Morocco.
According to the Malian Ministry of Trade, mangoes exports were from 8.517 tons in 2007, 12.576 tons in 2008 and 6.857 tons in 2009.
