It's looking good for onions exports from Holland

Exports are looking good for Dutch onions and record very good results.

According to Holland Onions exports the volume has exceed 600 000 tonnes. This year, exports will continue to progress with new destinations such as Panama, Brazil and Indonesia. Approximately 16% of the total volume exports sent to new destinations. 

The top 5 destinations: Senegal, Ivory Coast, United Kingdon, Brazil and Malaysia. 

The global market will continue to grow and the total consumption could reach 150 million tons in 2050. The Dutch onion sector is estimated to have sufficient potential to reach 2 million tons of exports in 2050.
