Industrial raspberries prices are 2 times higher this year in Poland

Processing companies have recently announced raspberries purchasing season start in Poland. According to the local specialists, there is a restricted amount of berries available on the local fruit market. Due to low stocks of berries from last year, polish processing companies are forced to purchase industrial raspberries at rather high prices. At the current moment processers buy berries at 1,25 – 1,48 EUROkg depending on the berries quality. These figures are 2 times higher comparing to the last year prices. Due to bad weather conditions and pure crops, local specialists predict raspberries prices to remain quite high till the end of the season.
