Time to shift activity in off-season period : "Sofresco" is preparing for new season of Mexican limes

Now when 2015 – 2016 berry season from Mexico has ended Sofresco, Swiss supplier of Mexican berries, lemons and limes, is focusing its efforts in the on going lime season and is preparing for 2016 – 2017 berry season. 

 

 

Sofresco’s lime programme started about five weeks late, but fortunately demand has been high and company expects to have a successful season. Despite the fact that European currencies are week due to Brexit, Sofresco is experiencing good sales and forecasts this behaviour until end of the season.

 

 

Regarding berry season 2016 – 2017 Sofresco expects to have a substantial growth in blackberry shipments, thanks to competitive logistics and vertical integration. As main important direction company sees to grow export of Mexican blueberries to Europe and Asia.
