ASEAN countries imported over one million tons of table grapes

While European supply is rather stable, China is where major developments are happening, both with the domestic market and regional trade.
China is already world number one producer, its exports have been gradually increasing over the last 10 years, as long as its table grapes orchard has been modernized. China exports are mainly being chipped to South East Asia, also Central Asia like Kyrgyztan.
More than one million tons imported in 2025
Asia’s total table grape imports have stagnated, with growth in ASEAN countries, 2025 overpassed 1 million tons for the first time in 2025, according to latest Rabobank research presented last week at the International Table Grapes Symposium 2026 (ITGS) in Murcia. China increases still imports table grapes and also became the dominant force in the South East Asia. Source: Rabobank
