International Seminar of Organic Agriculture in Paris

The 2018 Seminar will be attended by many French, European and African experts.
The next International Seminar on Organic Agriculture, organized by the BIO Agency, will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 in Paris (Auditorium Paris Center Marceau, House of Crafts) on the theme of "organic food in the World" : in the heart of the territories, healthy and accessible. "
After an introductory presentation, it will be, during several round tables, to discuss issues of health, quality, food sovereignty and food education through school catering. Researchers will report on ongoing studies and international actors will present concrete initiatives on these topics.
The 1st International Seminar on Organic Farming was organized by the BIO Agency in 2016. The Seminar aims to:
- to take stock of the main developments observed in the European Union and in the world, both in terms of public policies in favor of the development of organic farming and in terms of consumption and production,
- to highlight the factors of development in each country, the possible obstacles to lift and the prospects in the long term. This seminar is open to all those working for the development of organic agriculture, especially public authorities, communities, professional and inter-professional organizations, production, processing and distribution companies, research institutes and technical, consumer and environmental protection associations, etc.
