Campbell Soup is to acqure the No. 1 U.S. fresh carrot and premium natural product manufacturer (soups, sauces, juices).
Campbell has offered $1.55 billion for the leader in fresh carrots premium drinks.
Campbell Soup has announced the acquisition of Bolthouse Farms, a farming business founded in 1915 and based in California. Bolthouse Farms is the market leader in fresh carrots and natural product drinks, with high added value.
The company employs 2,000 people and generated sales of $ 689 million in 2011.
