Peru plans to increase its exports of + 60 % for peppers / bell peppers

In the next five years is estimated that Peru 's exports of chilli / pepper will jump by 60%.

This expected increase is explained by an expected increase in demand in the future. Peruvian producers have just managed to obtain licenses to sell chilies and peppers in the US market . This new demand will thus " boost " production and exports will advance .

In Peru , the main production area is Lambayeque which groups about 70% of national production.
