Target 11% growth in exports

 

 

 

Growth has been steady in recent years for exports of Fruits & Vegetables that have seen their turnover increase from USD 460 million in 2010 to USD 1.5 billion in 2014 and USD 2.2 billion in 2015. To continue to exceed 2 billion USD Ministry of Agriculture and rural Development provides a 11% increase this year.

 

 

 

Vietnamese products accounted for a volume of over 1.6 million tonnes (dragon fruit, watermelon, longan, lychee ...) and are exported in 40 countries.

 

 

 

Despite a context where the opportunities of several agricultural commodities tend to be saturated and where global demand seems to stagnate, the Vietnamese Fruits & Vegetables can further increase their market share.
