Demand for industrial apples remains stable in Russia

Demand for apples for industrial processing still remains quite stable but this year figures are not very high. The main reason is low sale of processing final products on domestic fruit market of Russia. Current average price for apples for industrial processing verifies from 0,1 EUROkg to 0,17 EUROkg. In southern parts of the country prices go down to 0,09 EUROkg. This year figures are 25 % higher comparing to the previous year numbers. Last year prices for this kind of local apples comprised about 0,06 – 0,13 EUROkg within fruit market of Russia.
