China Fruit Expo 2026 draws stronger international participation

Industry groups used the Shanghai exhibition to launch reports, hold trade meetings and expand cooperation across key fruit markets.
The 2026 China International Fruit Expo brought growers, exporters, associations and buyers together at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
Chinese delegations represented producing regions including Guangxi, Shandong, Yunnan, Xinjiang and Hainan, while international participation included groups from Chile, Australia and Peru.
According to organiser CFNA, Australia brought together more than ten fruit industry associations at the event for the first time. During the expo, CFNA also signed a memorandum of understanding with Hort Innovation Australia.
The programme included the release of the China Fruit Consumption and Trend Insight Report, a Chile Cherry 2026 workshop, business matchmaking for imported fruit, a fruit breeding forum and food safety activities.
Regional promotion events also gave Chinese producing areas a platform to present their fruit to domestic and international buyers.
