Huelva to make history with the tenth congress

The Spanish association of producers and exporters of berries (FresHuelva) will coordinate for the tenth time the most important international event on berries, with more than 1700 delegates. Huelva remains the world's epicenter of berries as the largest producing region. The announcement of the dates of this tenth edition has coincided with the signing of the agreement with the Caja Rural del Sur Foundation, which has renewed its commitment to the Congress and will again be the exclusive main sponsor of this event. Discussed the future of the sector

The organization faces a special edition on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of this Congress, enshrined in the calendar of events in the agricultural sector and main meeting point for producers, marketers and ancillary companies, both nationally and internationally, who come to Huelva to discuss and analyze the present and future of a sector eminently exporter of berries such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries or blackberries, which also stand out for their healthy qualities.

Health, water, the environment and new markets are the challenges

Precisely the commitment to health through the consumption of berries will be one of the topics that will be present in a Congress which will also address other issues of concern to the sector, such as water, disinfection, marketing with new markets or the socio-economic value of the productive activity. Francisco José Gómez was "very excited" with the celebration of a new edition of the Congress and hoped that the event will serve to underpin the union of the sector, from which to analyze the present and address current problems in order to continue growing and being a world leader in the production and marketing of berries.
