Demand for local apples in Russia remains low

According to the latest data demand for local sweet apples stays quite low within Russian fruit market. Middle and middle-late apples have appeared in Russian fruit markets last week. This factor has triggered price decreasing for local apples. Current price for sweet apples comprise around 16 – 28 rub / kg. Due to abundance of apples supply prices for this kind of fruits remain on the same level comparing to the last year figures. However local apples producers are not satisfied with this season prices for apples.
