Cubain pineapple made its place in Europe

The European market received its 1st pineapple shipments from Cuba.

The Prensa Latina announces that the 1st Cuban pineapples come from deliveries totaling 550 tonnes ( MD2 ) and had as destination: France, Italy and Spain .

These particularly sweet and juicy pineapples have been well received in different markets. Now Cuban producers in Europe feel they can send 920 tons of fruit this year.

These pineapples are from the Ciego de Avila region located about 450 kilometers east of Havana. this region is the No. 1 area for pineapple production in the country.
