CMA CGM reorganises its Morocco-West Med service to give better coverage and faster transit time.
CMA CGM and its Moroccan subsidiary, COMANAV has announced the reorganisation of its service Med-West Morocco.
The new organisation will improve reliability and transit times and schedule adherence. CMA CGM and COMANAV will establish three separate loops, each dedicated to a market.
• Loop 1 - Spain. Rotation: Barcelona> Valencia TCV> Valencia Noatum> Casablanca> Barcelona
As of April 18, 2012, the rotation will be: TCV Valencia> Valencia Noatum> Barcelona> Casablanca> Valencia TCV.
• Loop 2 - Italy
. Rotation: Naples> La Spezia> Genoa> Casablanca> Salerno> Naples.
• Loop 3 - France. Rotation: Marseille> Casablanca> Marseille.
"These three additional loops will provide a comprehensive port coverage of the Western Mediterranean and faster transit time. In addition, the new service will be connected to the CMA CGM to offer customers door to door transport solutions, "said Peter Verheijen, Deputy Director Central - Services North Africa.
