HapiFork, an intelligent fork that measures the speed of eating and will warn you if you eat too quickly.
HapiFork is an intelligent fork that warns you if you eat too quickly.
HapiFork looks like a classic fork but with a slightly larger handle. The fork can measure the time between two bites and will vibrate if it is brought to the mouth 2 times in less than 10 seconds thus alerting the user if they eat too quickly.
HapiFork also measures
: the number and duration of meals, the number of times the fork is put in the mouth. Via its Bluetooth connection, it can be connected to a smartphone in order to view these statistics.
Developed by a French company, the fork was recently presented at high-tech fair in Las Vegas. It will be marketed in the coming months for the price of 75 €.
