The platform brings regulatory and crop-specific pesticide information together for growers and exporters.
Frutas de Chile has launched an updated version of its Pesticide Agenda, a technical information system designed to help growers and exporters comply with residue requirements in destination markets.
The platform provides maximum residue limits (MRLs) established in export markets alongside recommended pre-harvest intervals for major fresh fruit crops.
It also lists active substances by species in line with uses authorised by Chile’s Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG), including pesticides subject to MRL rules and certain substances exempt from MRL requirements.
Frutas de Chile said the updated system is intended to improve access to technical information, support pesticide management and help reduce the risk of shipments being detained or rejected at destination.
