81st Lemon Festival in Menton

Menton city began its annual Lemon Festival which will take place until March 5.

The Lemon Festival ® celebrates this year its 81st edition. The event attracts thousands of spectators to coming admire the giant motifs of citrus in Biovès the Garden, and the parade of floats decorated with citrus on the Promenade du Soleil, at the seaside.

The 2014 theme is the book Jules Verne's "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea." Giant citrus patterns illustrate some passages of the novel: Captain Nemo, the diver, cave diving, whales, giant squid ...
