Peruvian avocados to enter 3 new markets in 2022

In this first quarter, Peruvian avocados would gain access to the Malaysian market, reported Juan Carlos Paredes, the president of the Association of Hass Avocado Producers of Peru (Prohass), and specified that negotiations with this country are already advanced.

The president stressed that the potential of this destination is enormous due to the density of inhabitants, despite the fact that it will take a few years to establish a position.

It should be noted that the Philippines and Taiwan are in the queue for markets to be covered this year as well. The opening of the Philippine market is estimated for the first semester.
