World Fruit & Veg Show to Exhibit at Euroagro
United Kingdom
Wednesday 09 April 2008
The relationship between Spanish suppliers and British distributors and buyers of fresh fruit and vegetables is well established, yet continually developing, as the market continues to increase. The British fruit and vegetable market is increasingly dependant on purchasing overseas, with around 90% of fruit imported and a flow of salad lines and other vegetables travelling across the Channel from Spain.
In recognition of the importance of this relationship within the industry, the London’s show World Fruit & Vegetable will be exhibiting at Euroagro, in Valencia-Spain (16-18 April), to meet with Spanish exhibitors and visitors who may be interested to find out more about the exhibition, which is to be held at ExCeL international exhibition centre in London, on 8-9 October 2008.
“Having a strong representation from Spain at our exhibition is very important”, said Diane Snowden, show manager. “Spain is a major player in the UK fruit and vegetable market and visitors will expect to meet Spanish suppliers, whether for the first time, or with established contacts. There are always new innovations entering the market, which suppliers need to promote to new and existing customers. Even established business partners benefit from face to face business discussions to develop their plans for the future”, she explained.
