The UNIVEG Group has signed cooperation agreements with Bayer CropScience and Syngenta.
The UNIVEG Group has signed cooperation agreements with two agribusinesses: Bayer CropScience and Syngenta.
After previous successful collaborations, UNIVEG has signed agreements with these two companies in order to develop and implement a number of projects for technical support and concept development towards a more sustainable supply chain. Closer cooperation will improve quality, yields and food security.
Francis Kint CEO for Fresh Produce Business UNIVEG says that these agreements mark a milestone in
its sustainable development strategy. Bayer CropScience and Syngenta share a common vision about the challenges facing fruit and vegetables.
The UNIVEG group is a global supplier of fresh produce (fruits & vegetables, flowers & plants, transportation & logistics). It has offices on four continents and supplies customers in 25 countries. In 2009, its turnover amounted to EUR 3.3 billion. The group employs around 9,500 people.
