McDonald's add more fruit and vegetables to its menus

The American fast food franchiser has said that it is to change its menus to include more fruit and vegetables. For its children's menus it will offer chopped fresh fruit and fruit juice. On 6th May, McDonald's is launching its adult version of the Happy Meal, "Go Active" which includes a salad, a bottle of water and a podometer. The company has also announced that its worldwide sales for the first quarter are up by 16 percent on the previous year.
