BRANDT announces the expansion of its production facility in Illinois

BRANDT, U.S. company that helps local growers implement customized crop management and provides customers around the world with cutting-edge products to increase yields and maximize productivity, has begun the construction of a new manufacturing facility in Pleasant Plains, Illinois. A new 40,000 square foot expansion will additionally store finished dry and liquid fertilizers blends, as well as raw materials.

The capacity of the storage will be increased by over 30%. The $1.5 million expansion aims to support the growing business needs.

Bill Engel, BRANDT Executive Vice President, shared that in 2020 the company saw an unprecedented demand for its specialty nutrition products. "We continue to make significant investments in our business to ensure that we can get this technology to our customers quickly and efficiently," he added.

In addition to the Pleasant Plains, IL manufacturing facility, the company operates production facilities in Fresno and Visalia (California), Logan (Utah), Lakeland (Florida), as well as in Carmona, Spain and Londrina, Brazil.
