Expected production of 203 000 tonnes for this 2017 season.
The 2017 season is expected to be good for the garlic production, which is expected to reach a total volume in excess of 200,000 tonnes, almost as well as last year.

Towards countries outside the EU, remarkable growth in demand from South Africa, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Japan, Australia, and particularly Taiwan, which rose from 930 tons 2015 to 14 789 tonnes in 2016.
