Huhtamaki restructures global operations

Finnish packaging group Huhtamaki Oyj, specialised in consumer goods, has reorganised its operations in Europe and northern America where it makes 80% of its sales. The restructuring will base on the customers' profiles rather than on geographical criteria. The group which is set up in 36 countries achieved a turnover of EUR 2 400 million in 2001.
