Association of the Co-operatives Pempa & Terre Merse

Tony Bongiovanni, Fructidor's country manager for Italy, informs us that the Pempa co-operative (part of the Corer Group) got associated with the Coop. Terre Merse in order to form only one co-operative Terremerse. Now, this unique coop. can market fruit produced by the ex-Pempa and vegetables produced by the ex-Terre Merse. Production comes from Emilie-Romagne but also from the south of Italy as they have members there.
