New European legislation for the organic sector

The European Commission wants to improve legislation of the organic sector to promote its development.
The organic sector is now valued at more than € 20 billion in sales, having registered a 4-fold increase in sales in 15 years. The European Commission wanted to improve the legislation for the sector to continue its development, with a proposal for new regulations on organic production and labeling of products from organic agriculture.
Designed to update and adapt the current legislation, and to maintain high standards, this proposal predicts to:
