It is the most important food fair in the United States. Companies from 55 different countries are participating and this year 2670 companies are expected. It is organized for the 63rd time and since 1998, Turkey's participation is assured by the Union of Aegean Exporters and for the first time, Turkey will be the partner country with its slogan: "Discover the Turkish potential".

The United States is the world's largest importer of food products with an annual value of $ 130 billion and Turkey hopes to increase its export share to $ 2 billion. It is therefore a very important market for Turkey which imported in 2016 for a value of 755 million US dollars of food products.

Fancy Food will be able to promote Turkish organic products to around 50,000 visitors. 40 Turkish companies will be present on a total area of 530 m2, just in front of the main door, level 3, in a privileged location. The products offered are dried fruits, olive oil, fruits and vegetables, cereals and pulses, confectionery products and a wide range of organic products.

Turkey was able to participate as a partner country through the website Specialty Food.
