The Nigerian market has attracted the chain Woolworths, which has opened its first store and plans soon to open 30 more.
The Woolworths chain, based in Republic of South Africa, is expanding and launching into the Nigerian market.
Woolworths has just opened a store in Lagos and is opening a second outlet planned in the coming weeks. The investment is estimated at N450m
(€ 2.2 million).
The chain has plans for rapid expansion in the country, and expects to open about 30 stores in the near future. Woolworths already operates in 13 African countries.
