The 2015-16 season looks promising for apple, pear and tomato production.

The Ministry of Agriculture announced its production estimates for the 2015-16 season :

The Spanish pear production will be about 410,000 tonnes , slightly down from the level of last season .

Apple production will be about 477,000 tons, an increase of 3 % compared to last season.

The production of tomatoes for the fresh market will be about 1.5 million tonnes, slightly below the level of last season.
