Basil-bonsai has been launched by French company Les Cailloux (13).
With a grafted stem, basil-bonsai can be kept permanently. It has an average height of 30 cm, needs 2 waterings daily demand, and pruning every 10-15 days. The advantage over other ornamental
plants is that cut leaves can be eaten!
Les Cailloux carefully selects its products to protect and restore the flavours of the past. Its range is vast and varied, offering over 20 varieties of tomatoes, several varieties of artichokes and lettuce, cucumbers, squash and beans.
