International Asparagus Days 2013

Private and unique  event in the world of asparagus, it will take place in the heart of plantings with material in action and techniques of last generation.

It is open to all those who work in the asparagus planting until marketing, you can attend as a visitor, exhibitor, sponsor or partner. This new appointment will bring together about 30% of the world's asparagus producers and visitors, all professionals, will come from more than 25 countries.

The World plantings represent more than 210 000 hectares in the world on five continents, the demand is still very strong. Today, experts estimate that 70 000 hectares can still be cultivated. In addition to a quantitative and qualitative need, a new demand appears at the environmental level with organic asparagus. International  Asparagus Days will bring to growers concrete answers of this type of production.

The asparagus production requires great technical expertise of all parameters of production, packaging and marketing. High-tech, know-how and financial investments are closely linked to achieve the necessary performance to its profitability.

 International Asparagus Days 2013 taking place on 3 and 4 December 2013 at the Barp near Bordeaux intends to respond to this dynamic and the expectations of industry professionals.
