Blair declares war on junk food in schools

British Prime Minister Tony Blair is set to announce new standards for school meals in the UK. New nutritional standards are expected to be introduced that ban foods which are high in fat, salt or sugar from school menus and which state that vending machines stock items such as bottled water and fresh fruit.
