Malatya apricots severely affected by frost

After early flowering of apricots trees in the largest producing region of  Turkish dried apricots, the temperatures of  - 5/-10 degrees for two days have not only affected apricot trees in bloom, but most of the fruit trees "burning"  flowers and young shoots.

Some farmers talk about total destruction and government assistance is expected, the majority of the producers were not insured for the weather.
