GLOBAL G.A.P Procedure for Certificate Extension re-updated due to the Corona Virus

GLOBAL G.A.P. informs that procedure for certificate extension has been updated. 

 The procedure from March 13, 2020 has been modified now and is replaced by new procedure, which permits for a 6-month extension of GLOBALG.A.P. certificates without a remote audit/inspection requirement.

 Based on a risk assessment (which has to be recorded), GLOBALG.A.P. certificate validity may be extended beyond the 12 months and for a maximum period of 6 months.

 If this crisis continues beyond September 2020 and travel restrictions remain in place, GLOBALG.A.P. will use the time to work with industry stakeholders to develop alternative means of assuring compliance to be prepared before.
