The 1st edition of International Asparagus Days will take place in Cesena Fiera in October

While asparagus cultivation in the world is spread over 210,000 hectares and consumption of this vegetable is increasing, until now there was no international event entirely devoted to this product. The 1st edition of International Asparagus Days is scheduled from 16th to the 18th October 2018 in Cesena Fiera.

INTERNATIONAL ASPARAGUS DAYS is born thanks to the partnership between Cesena Fiera, organizer of Macfrut, and Christian Befve, among the world's leading experts in asparagus, in collaboration with Luciano Trentini, also a connoisseur of asparagus and the sector of Fruits and vegetables. This event takes over from a previous event promoted by Mr. Befve 5 years ago in Bordeaux (France).

The event will be composed of several parts. First of all, the fair in Cesena Fiera, with exhibitors from around the world. With also a rich and varied program of seminars, dedicated to the agronomic, commercial, strategic and technical aspects. As well as a dynamic zone for demonstrative tests, in a space near Cesena Fiera, to discover the operation of the most modern technologies in the field.

These 3 games will take place on Tuesday 16^th and Wednesday 17^th, October, while technical visits to producing companies in Emilia-Romagna and Veneto are scheduled for Thursday 18^th, October.

INTERNATIONAL ASPARAGUS DAYS will be promoted through a European tour that will include France and Germany during important promotional events.
